Teaching packs

	Explore the issues surrounding cancer and young people with free teaching packs from Macmillan Cancer Support. We offer free PSHE/PSE/PSD & Citizenship teaching packs, with cross-curricular links to other subjects for use with pupils aged 7-16.

Keep healthy, be active teaching pack

Help your pupils to make informed lifestyle choices. With differentiated materials for primary and secondary schools, including lesson plans, resource sheets and promotional posters. Find out more about the pack here.

The Diploma in Society, Health and Development lesson plans

Macmillan Cancer Support and Skills for Health have collaborated to produce a set of Big Sports Day specific teaching materials and resource sheets. These are designed to complement the National Curriculum for England and the learning objectives of the new Diploma in Society, Health and Development qualification for 14-19 year olds, which is currently being trialled at schools across England. You can download the pilot scheme pack to support any classroom activities you plan to undertake around the event.

The Big Sports Day lesson plans

Don't let your cancer awareness programme end at the finishing line! We've developed some brand new, key question-led lesson plans to support your Big Sports Day activities. So whether you're looking for warm-up ideas, or sun awareness facts, you can help yourself to all of our plans from our downloads page.
