Keep healthy, be active teaching pack

Cancer is not a single disease with a single cause or type of treatment. There are many factors involved in developing the disease including age, lifestyle, genetics and our environment. We don't know why people get cancer, but we do know there are ways to reduce the risk. Working in conjunction with nutritionists and educational professionals, Macmillan Cancer Support explores these areas in our new pack.

The new pack includes:

seven, key question-led lesson plans focusing on diet, smoking and fitness. Clear links are made to all UK curriculums and links to further supprt are listed
differentiated pupil resource sheets are included with each pack, which can be easily photocopied and used as part of a lesson on healthy living
a full colour poster promotes the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It can be displayed in the classroom or on a school notice board.
