Here are some fun and easy activities for Key stage 2 pupils/children aged 7-11. The activities can be done on their own, or linked to Macmillan events such as Cancertalk Week or The Big Hush.

  • Consider and empathise with the emotions often felt by people who are affected by cancer
  • Learn about how Macmillan helps people with cancer

Look after your health

This exciting activity is linked to elements of the National Curriculum: Personal Social Health Education (PSD and PSE) ICT, Literacy, and Science.

Learning outcomes

  • Consider own lifestyle in terms of health
  • Understand there are ways to reduce the chance of getting ill, even developing an illness such as cancer
  • Learn the facts about cancer and how Macmillan Cancer Relief helps people living with cancer
  • Actively put their suggestions into practice
