Here are some fun and easy activities for Key Stage 2 pupils/children aged 7-11. The activities can be done on their own, or linked to Macmillan events such as The Big Sports Day.

This fun activity is linked to elements of the National Curriculum: Personal Social Health Education (PSD and PSE), Literacy, ICT, and Science.

Learning outcomes

  • learn the basic facts about cancer
  • consider and empathise with the emotions often felt by people who are affected by cancer
  • learn about how Macmillan helps people with cancer.

Look after your health

This exciting activity is linked to elements of the National Curriculum: Personal Social Health Education (PSD and PSE) ICT, Literacy, and Science.

Learning outcomes

  • consider own lifestyle in terms of health
  • understand there are ways to reduce the chance of getting ill, even developing an illness such as cancer
  • learn the facts about cancer and how Macmillan Cancer Support helps people living with cancer
  • actively put their suggestions into practice.
