Out of lessons
Your
pupils can really use their creativity by fundraising for Macmillan
at lunchtime, after school or at weekends. Here are a few ideas to get
you started!
- Organise a disco or ball at the end of term or for Valentines Day
- Hold a summer or Christmas fete and ask different classes to be responsible
for different stalls
- Have an auction of promises either by pupils or teachers!
- A karaoke competiton is always popular music pupils could accompany
budding singers and charge a small entry fee for pupils to watch
- Hold a raffle or giant tombola
- A dress down or mufti day is a quick and easy way to raise money,
but you could do it with a twist such as a ‘green clothes’
day, or wear odd socks for a day
- Hold an ‘unwanted gift’ sale after Christmas
- Have a flower sale for Valentines day sell roses or cards and
offer to deliver for an extra cost!
- Have a Battle of the Bands or Battle of the DJs evening
- Donate the proceeds of your school play to Macmillan
- Make a donation to watch the World Cup or Wimbledon you could
do this in the school hall or a classroom
Get organised with all
the tips and tools you need to make your event a success!
Don’t forget - if you send
us your photos and stories we can feature your fundraising in our
Hall
of Fame.
